Celebrating Camden's creativity with our newest art exhibition

St Pancras Hospital is set to host a dazzling new art exhibition, Array of Light, showcasing the extraordinary talent of local artists in Camden. Curated by The Arts Project, this exhibition celebrates the rich diversity and creativity of one of London’s most vibrant communities.

The exhibition launches with an opening night event on Friday 22 November, from 5.30pm to 8.30 pm, featuring live artwork and music. This lively celebration will spotlight the work of artists from The Camden Women Art Collective, a group whose pieces reflect themes of identity, resilience, and the beauty of everyday life.

The exhibition will run from 25 November 2024 to 17 January 2025, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm (excluding Christmas and New Year bank holidays), at the Conference Centre, St Pancras Hospital, 4 St Pancras Way, NW1 0PE.

Meet the artists

Bee Ororo
is the musical and choir director of The North London NHS Choir and reveals another aspect of her versatility with paintings born out of the COVID lockdown which found new ways to explore themes of identity, mental health, nurturing of nature and transracial adoption.

Miriam Mannish supports creative activities for The Arts Project and a range of groups in Camden. Her creative background, with new work on display, reflect an evolving journey of enlightenment with art forms that explore textures and layers through mixed media, drawings and collage.

Marion Hack is a local artist with work that has featured in many of our Loudest Whispers exhibitions. These are deeply layered acrylic paintings and drawings celebrating the life forces of women capturing both the ordinary side of working lives and the joy and beauty of the female gaze.

Katie Clayton works for the Trust and this is a welcome opportunity to discover a rich and mature talent for both sensitive thoughtful portraits of the human face but also the beauty of still life paintings.

Nora O'Donoghue lists Grayson Perry, Clare Wakefield and Sara Roberts as inspirational ceramic artists. These are reflected in her delicate often miniscule ceramic pots and shapes involving ceramic printing as a way to look into the endless possibilities of ceramic pottery.

Art with a purpose
Supported by the North London Foundation Trust and the Central and North West London NHS Health Charitable Fund, the exhibition emphasises the role of art in fostering community, enhancing wellbeing, and connecting individuals.
