AHPs day is an annual occasion, celebrated on 14 October, that spotlights the significant contributions AHPs make care across our health and care system. Read about the impact they've made across the organisation and how they support our service users. 

World Mental Health Day is marked on Thursday 10 October. The global event aims to offer support and ending the stigma around mental health. The international event has been recognised for more than 70 years and highlights the work being done to ensure mental health is treated with as equal importance as physical health. This year’s theme is “mental health at work”.  

We are pleased to announce an upcoming event aimed at enhancing our understanding of dementia prevention. Join us for a talk by Prof Gill Livingston, a leading expert in psychiatry for older people, who will share valuable insights into how dementia works and the proactive steps we can take to help prevent it.

Join us on Tuesday 29 October for an exciting afternoon as we showcase our progress, highlight our successes and sharing our achievements from the past year.

In September, a group of mental health nurses from the Netherlands visited St Pancras Hospital, Highgate and the Peckwater Centre to learn about how our services help patients achieve and maintain mental health recovery.

Our St Pancras Hospital art exhibition series, 'Loudest Whispers', celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2025. 'Loudest Whispers' is linked to UK LGBT+ History Month and its theme each year.
