North London Forensic Collaborative (NLFC) Learning Disability and Autism (LDA) Clinical Pathway held their annual learning event on Tuesday 14 May, at the Wesley Hotel & Conference Venue in Euston, London.
Staff working across learning disability and autism services listened to presentations from Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust and East London Foundation Trust, focussing on complex patient cases featuring autism, obsession and romance, autism and arson, learning disability and stalking, in addition to a presentation from the national Stalking Threat Assessment Centre.
Sarah Hill Managing Director for Acute Inpatients, North London Mental Health Partnership said the event was “thought provoking, a fantastic range of multi professional presentations on stalking and arson as part of the NLFC LDA clinical learning event. This collaborative learning event demonstrated the complexity of the clinical work and the importance of shared learning, co-production and exploring the meaning behind behaviour.”
