We are really pleased that our Chair, Lena Samuels, and our Chief Executive, Jinjer Kandola have both been recognised as amongst the most influential Black, Asian and minority ethnic people in health nationally, in the Health Service Journal’s (HSJ) annual list, published on 22 October. Lena is amongst the Alumni for her work as Chair of the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board, as well as the North London Mental Health Partnership. Jinjer is on the main list of the most influential Black, Asian and minority ethnic leaders in health.
To have both our Chair and Chief Executive recognised nationally is fantastic for our organisation as we soon become the new North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT). Their recognition highlights their commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, which is key to our success as the new NLFT. Many congratulations to Lena and Jinjer and this is great news for our new NLFT!
