Partnership Consultant Psychiatrist wins Royal College award for podcast

We're thrilled to share that Dr Katherine Kennet, one of our Consultant Psychiatrists, had her 'Social Prescribing' podcast named the most popular eLearning podcast of 2023/24 at this year's Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) Congress in Edinburgh.

There was an awards ceremony on Monday 17 June to thank Katherine, among other winners in other categories, for her hard work.

Katherine is a Consultant Adult and Child Psychiatrist at the East Barnet Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS).

Dr Kennet is also co-chair of the RCPsych Committee for Sustainability and Planetary Health, which social prescribing, the subject of her podcast, is linked to.

We are very proud to have such an asset to continuous professional development in the mental health field at our Partnership - well done, Katherine! You can read the RCPsych position statement on social prescribing, authored by Katherine, here.
