Each year, our Partnership has to agree what its key priorities will be for the next 12 months to ensure we deliver outstanding care to our service users.
To develop this year’s quality priorities, we hosted two engagement events on Thursday 18 April, with close to 200 service users, staff members, governors and stakeholders in attendance.
The session was chaired by Lena Samuels, our Partnership Chair, and included an update from Chief Executive Jinjer Kandola on the progress made to enhance patient safety and experience over the past 12 months.
Participants were invited to contribute their views on what priorities we need to focus on in order to achieve our four strategic aims (add visual with the four aims as seen in slidedeck):
Key priorities discussed during the events included Patient Centred Care, with diversity, ethnicity and language all seen as critical factors in delivering good care, as well as the importance of improving our data collection when trying to create culturally sensitive services and building trust within local communities.
We are now processing the valuable feedback and recommendations we received, and will produce and publish our 2024/25 quality priorities for each of the four aims in the coming weeks. In the meantime, y ou can access the presentation video and event slides for information.
