We have a large range of services across Barnet, including Children and Young People's Services at Edgware Community Hospital, home to the Beacon Centre, a 12-person general inpatient unit and a 5-person day unit for children and young people.

The Barnet Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team was shortlisted for 'Team of the Year' at the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) London Division Awards in 2024.

Barnet is well-served by excellent transport links, with the Northen line running through the borough offering quick connections to central London.

Barnet is highly accessible for drivers, with excellent road connections to both central London boroughs and surrounding areas. The A1, A41, and North Circular (A406) run through the borough, offering convenient routes into the city and towards the M1, which connects to the M25 for wider motorway access. This makes commuting by car easy and efficient, whether traveling within Barnet or further afield.
