We are delighted to let you know that a documentary made about our autumn exhibition '11 Camden Voices' has recently won the Best Female Short Director award at the Spring 2024 Rome International Short Film Festival.
Creative, Cosmopolitan Culture – 11 Camden Voices documents the story behind the exhibition at St Pancras Hospital and features interviews with some of the artists that took part in it as well as an interview with Peter Herbert, Curator Manager from the Arts Project.
11 Camden Voices features the work of 11 Camden artists in a mixed-media exhibition. Some of the artists have either lived in the area for decades, while others have come from other parts of the world, reflecting the vibrancy and multi-cultural nature of the London borough. The exhibition ran from November 2023 to 12 January 2024.
Anna Bowman, director of the documentary, said:
“I'm delighted that Creative, Cosmopolitan Culture - 11 Camden artists and 20 years of Art and Health, Emerald 20 and other films have been nominated for awards at international film festivals.
It's been my great privilege to collaborate with Peter to document many of his exhibitions and events at the Gallery. Thanks Peter and The Arts Project team for putting on such great exhibitions and events and to everyone else involved for your support in making this happen.”
